Project Story
Situated in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, Al Khobar is a thriving city known for its vibrant blend of commerce, culture, and natural beauty. With its bustling commercial districts, scenic waterfront, and a lively expatriate community, Al Khobar is a cosmopolitan city that is continually evolving and expanding. Al Khobar, with its diverse urban landscape, presents an ideal setting for a citywide tree planting initiative. The city's climate, marked by hot summers and mild winters, is conducive to a variety of tree species, including Azadirachta and Poinciana. These trees can provide shade, reducing the heat island effect often seen in urban areas, and can also improve the air quality by absorbing pollutants.
Impacts Beyond Carbon
Restoration and afforestation does not only have environmental impact, but also social and economic. In all of our project we strive to find the co-benefit for each tree planted on the ground.
